The climate of Pinehurst consists of four distinct seasons, although temperatures tend to stay moderate throughout the year. During the summer, temperatures tend to reach the 90s and conditions are quite humid. Residents will rely on their air conditioning units in order to best escape the heat during these stifling climate conditions. Additionally, efficient systems can improve indoor air quality by reducing allergens and dust that are circulating through Pinehurst businesses and homes.

Warm autumn temperatures tend to lead to mild winter months. They are short in duration, and while high temperatures reach the 50s, overnight lows will plummet below the freezing point. In order to best prepare for these conditions, HVAC specialists recommend that residents have their furnace system or heat pump serviced so that they will operate properly when needed.
